We offer professional private lessons for clients:
at our training center in Saranac Lake, NY
in client homes within our service area with a travel fee
online for distance clients
and/or a combination of these options
Our goal is to provide you with the skills necessary to become a positive reinforcement trainer yourself. We will be your guides as you understand a fun, entirely positive way of interacting and training your animal.
Six & Nine Lesson Packages

These packages can be applied to any of our programs (with the exception of puppies aged 8 to 16 weeks). If you are an existing client, please visit Continuation Lessons for information about continuation lessons and packages.

Each lesson is an hour and specifically tailored to you and your dog(s).
We recommend completing the 6 lesson package in 2 months.*
We recommend completing the 9 lesson package in 3 months.*
*We will gladly accept you into the program even if this won’t work for your schedule.

Puppy Lesson Package

We accept puppies aged 8 to 16 weeks into the program. If your pup is older than 16 weeks, we recommend the adolescent program.

Each lesson is an hour and specifically tailored to you and your puppy.
We recommend completing the 6 lesson package in 2 months.*
*We will gladly accept you into the program if this won’t work for your schedule. BUT, for your pup’s best interest, the sooner you train and establish good habits, the better!!

Reactive Dog Package

This program is for dogs who are reacting in a fearful way to triggers in their environment. You can read more details here: LINK

Each lesson is an hour and specifically tailored to you and your dog.
Since helping dogs who are reactive is about reworking how the dog’s brain perceives triggers, it’s important to commit to a consistent lesson schedule as well as training at home. We recommend completing the 6 lesson package in 2 months or the nine lesson package in 3 months.

Behavior & Entry Consultations

Consultations are a good fit if you’d like to meet us before committing to a lesson package. They’re also helpful for discussing a particular behavior issue your dog is experiencing. We’ll provide a professional assessment and recommendations for future training & management.
