Why choose Animal Connection Academy for your self-study?

At Animal Connection Academy, we understand the importance of flexible and accessible training options for busy dog people like you.

Our self-study courses & webinars offer a convenient way to build a strong bond with your dog and begin addressing behavioral issues. Here are a few reasons we recommend our self study courses and webinars:

  1. Professional Guidance from Experts in Positive Dog Training

At Animal Connection Training, our approach is compassionate, fun, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each dog.

With our self study online courses, we are applying our real time experience and knowledge from working full time as positive dog trainers. We are open 5 days a week, from 8:30am - 4:30pm, meeting clients and their dogs at our training center or in the field. We love our job and want to share what we are constantly learning from every unique dog we meet! Animal Connection Academy is our way of sharing what these amazing dogs have taught us, and continue to teach us, with you!

    Convenience and Flexibility

With our self-study format, you can learn at your own pace and schedule sessions that fit into your daily routine. We’ve developed our courses to offer the flexibility you need to advance your dog training and behavior knowledge skills.

  2. Cost-Effective

Our self-study courses & webinars offer an affordable alternative to in-person lessons without compromising on quality. And, if you’d like some personal help, we do offer professional coaching alongside your self-study.

  3. Personalized Training

Every dog is unique, and our courses and webinars allows you to tailor training strategies to meet your dog's individual needs. Our emphasis on understanding dog communication signals will help you tap into your dog’s true needs and desires.

  4. We Live What We Teach!

We’re uniquely situated in the heart of the Adirondack Park - the largest park in the contiguous United States. Most of the 700 (+) dogs we’ve worked with are outdoor loving dogs - spending regular time out hiking, climbing mountains, traveling, camping, boating, and even skijoring. Helping dogs and their people feel safe and comfortable traveling and exploring the world around them is our passion!
